"This dress would be so cute if it didn't have the strange shoulder pads sewn in. They make the top an unflattering shape. I didn't see any reasonable way to remove them, so I returned the dress."

Stylish & elegant, just not sure about the shoulder pads.

"Great style, and nice material. Reasonably well covering, it has slits on both sides of the skirt. The cord is nice. My only problem was the shoulder pads which are a bit weird. Especially as they make it feel hotter and I bought it specifically for hot weather. I cut them out but it was hard to do without cutting the seams so bits of foam are left in. Would be better if they were detachable. So for this 4 stars. I would also, in general, love to see a design of a fuller skirt, say a circle skirt in light material, not only the straight-drop ones with slits. As a person with an severe allergy to the sun, it would be more practical and nice to have the style option. But this dress gives reasonable cover and is very elegant."
