Sizing Overview Coolibar clothing is true to the standard sizing adopted by most – retail chains included, thus if you are normally a size 10 or 12 in a department store, you should expect to wear the same size in Coolibar clothing as well. However, the breath of our design philosophy may mean that the size is not quite how you expect it, as we do put emphasis on the elements of comfort in how our clothes fit.
Why Our Fit Is Slightly Generous
To achieve the best fit, we use some data from sun protection clothing designer, with a background in sun protection expert for over 20 years, the data suggests that a slightly larger size maintains comfort for wearers as it allows for more airflow to the wearer, which is important especially in hot or humid conditions. This design feature has the advantage of maximizing summer wear comfort even after a long time.
